The Ambassador Program is made up of enthusiastic volunteers who serve as the welcoming face of the Berea Chamber of Commerce. Ambassadors play an important role in helping new members feel connected, promoting Chamber programs and events, and strengthening relationships within our business community.
As representatives of the Chamber, Ambassadors help foster a positive experience for members by welcoming new businesses, encouraging participation in Chamber activities, and serving as a valuable connection between the Chamber and its membership. Their dedication helps build a vibrant, engaged business community where members feel supported and connected.
Serving as an Ambassador is an excellent opportunity to become more involved in Berea's business community while expanding your professional network, increasing the visibility of your business, and developing lasting relationships with fellow Chamber members.
Mission
To promote engagement, strengthen member relationships, and support the growth of the Berea Chamber of Commerce through leadership, outreach, and community involvement.
Ambassador Responsibilities
- Welcome and connect with new Chamber members.
- Serve as a representative of the Berea Chamber at Chamber events and community functions.
- Encourage member participation in networking events, educational programs, and Chamber initiatives.
- Build meaningful relationships with members and help them maximize the value of their Chamber membership.
- Promote Chamber membership throughout the community and assist with member recruitment and retention.
- Share member feedback, questions, and concerns with Chamber staff to help strengthen the organization.

Ambassador Requirements
To serve as a Berea Chamber Ambassador, you should:
- Be employed by or represent a current Berea Chamber member business.
- Attend Chamber networking events, Signature Events, and other Chamber activities when possible.
- Participate in monthly Ambassador meetings.
- Assist members in making the most of their Chamber membership.
- Support member retention by maintaining positive relationships with existing members.
- Be enthusiastic, professional, dependable—and enjoy having fun while serving the community!
